As America’s first Nationally Accredited College of Hypnotherapy, HMI has been training skilled counselors for over 50 years. Our programs combine the power of Hypnotherapy with Mind-Body Psychology for an integrated and unique career as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist.
One-Plus-One program puts students on a course to complete a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy in one year or an Associate of Occupational Studies Degree in Mind-Body Psychology in two years.
Start getting hands-on experience with clients quickly as part of your Clinical Internship.
Eligible students can start with no money down and no payments for 18 months; financial aid is available.
No undergraduate degree is required to enroll.
Interactive Distance Learning (IDL) allows for remote study; daytime, evening and Saturday classes available.
The first 60 days of study are a trial enrollment for the school and students alike – if for any reason students do not wish to continue, there is no payment, obligation or explanation required.

When evaluating the average number of client sessions per week, please note that these graduates are just starting their private practices, many just 30 days after graduation. It should also be noted that the consensus is that HMI Graduates are looking to work less hours per week than they would in a traditional job, as well as have the flexibility to control their schedule and workload according to their individual preferences.
