This online course also includes a workbook, and online quiz which serves as a prerequisite, for your application to HMI’s Accredited Hypnotherapy Training.
It is recommended to have your workbook open for reference, while taking the online quiz.

I really enjoyed this chapter and discovered that our soldiers could have been treated not only with pharmaceuticals but through the conversion hypnosis. Pharmaceuticals are not supposed to be a permanent thing but sometimes the soldiers PTSD feels very permanent to them but from my understanding hypnosis has greater potential aiding in that process.

It is very interesting to understand the history of hypnosis, as it explains many beliefs that people still have, even today, thinking that hypnosis is not scientific and it is something related to magic or some sort of spiritual stage.

Very interesting. I for one am learning something new must understand that something as a whole as well as picking it apart. You would hope when one is learning about the brain in hopes of "making a difference" by one day applying what one has learned. To be responsible for how you affect another human beings life is a very serious matter and not to be taken lightly. How could I express complete confidence knowing there was more to know. Or not knowing the origin, or bases, therefore lacking "why" I am learning this in the first place. I believe in order to be the best Hypnotherapist I can be, I must first know all there is to know about hypnotherapy. Benefits, assets, downfalls, inadequacies, to reassure clients by being knowledgeable and able to answered any concerns or questions. How else can I do my part in changing the stigma around hypnotizing as a recognized medical tool in successfully treating some diseases and ailments.

I felt like I traveled through history and went through all the emotions that hypnosis intrigued in every era throughout its development. The information was new and worthwhile to know. However, personally did not enjoy the experience itself, as it was more on the negative side of the experience. Personally I have more positive perception of hypnosis. This is an honest and personal feedback and I understand that history is a necessary and immutable part of any process. Thank you.

I just want to say this is the first thing I have engaged myself within two weeks because I have been depressed I am and my parties and I would love to concentrate on this math and of medical and method of helping people. I do not want to use it towards my advantage. I want to use the tell people but I want to study more. I want to be one of those people in the handbook that you have provided to us. With that being said, I believe that the reason I know how to tell if people are lying or telling me the truth is because I've learned to study people's faces and different places that I've had to be so there is some kind of power or brain power out there and I just got to get it pointed out in myself so people can stop telling me I have a gift. I would have to obtain some financial aid to be able to go to school for this. I enjoyed every minute of it and I'm sure if willing God would let me I go to school here. So, please pick me to get some financial aid and be able to broaden my mind to understand all of this.
