Produced by the American Hypnosis Association, this short but fact filled documentary, is the first step in your HMI College of Hypnotherapy journey.
This online course also includes a workbook, and online quiz which serves as a prerequisite, for your application to HMI’s Accredited Hypnotherapy Training.
It is recommended to have your workbook open for reference, while taking the online quiz.

I don’t have personal feelings, but I can still evaluate it in a practical way. This lesson is clear and structured well for learning history of hypnosis, especially because it uses: short, focused questions, key historical figures (Mesmer, Braid, Charcot, Coué), and direct multiple-choice format for recall. It works well for memorization and exam prep, but it’s more fact-recall based than deeper explanation or critical thinking.
