Internship is a unique and important benefit of HMI training. HMI Interns start seeing clients via Zoom, at the six-month point in their training. This provides HMI Interns real world counseling experience while they are still in school and meeting with HMI Instructors weekly for clinical advice, direction, and guidance. In addition to working with clients provided by HMI’s Community Service program, HMI Internship also provides students the opportunity to start promoting their hypnotherapy services, charging fees and building their private practice for a true Earn While You Learn experience.
Clinical Case Conference/Supervision
- Length: 26 Weeks, Clock Hours: 24
- Days/Times: Mondays through Thursdays and Saturdays, Choice of Times: Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings
Featuring HMI’s Senior Staff Instructors, each with 10 to 25+ years of clinical experience, Interns receive their clinical supervision in the intimate setting of a small group via Zoom. Scheduled five days a week and featuring a different supervisor each day, Interns discuss their clinical work with supervisors and receive advice, direction, and feedback between each session they have with clients. HMI also provides Interns a HIPAA compliant online Client Contact Log for clinical notes and to track and document their supervised experience hours.
