Biography for Kevin Miller, CHt

Kevin helps creative people reach their career goals by identifying and overcoming roadblocks to productivity and success. The key is conquering fears and releasing limiting beliefs using the power of Hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming, and Therapeutic Imagery combined with the client's willingness, commitment, and desire for change.

With 30 years experience in the entertainment industry, Kevin is uniquely suited to help creative clients achieve their dreams. He understands the challenges writers, actors, directors, musicians, and visual artists face and knows the tools they can use to increase their output and elevate the quality of their work.

In addition to tackling hurdles like performance anxiety, perfectionism, and writer’s block, Kevin also specializes in other areas that impact creative output including smoking cessation, pain management, and weight control.

Kevin customizes his approach to match each client’s individual needs, meeting clients where they are and helping them get where they want to go. His favorite definition of hypnosis is, “Closing your eyes and imagining a better future," because that's the essential first step toward making that future a reality.

Experience

Kevin has over 900 hours of training and graduated with honors from Hypnosis Motivation Institute, the first Nationally Accredited College of Hypnotherapy in the nation, and his outstanding accomplishments were recognized with HMI’s Academic Achievement Award. Kevin sees clients in his Tarzana and Encino offices as well as worldwide via telephone, Skype and Facetime sessions.

During his time in the entertainment industry, Kevin worked as a producer, writer, director, and editor creating Emmy nominated, prime-time network programming, documentaries, and marketing materials for Sony, Warner Bros., 20th, Paramount, Disney, ABC, CBS, NBC, HBO and others.
