Biography for La Juanna Armstrong, CCHt

I am L’Marie Armstrong, and something in you already recognizes why you are reading this. As a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Honors Graduate of HMI College of Hypnotherapy, I partner with individuals who are ready to turn intention into lived, repeatable change. My practice is precise, personal, and built entirely around the person seated in front of me.

Individuals arrive carrying something specific: stress, trauma, performance anxiety, breathing and attitude, habits ready to change, behaviors ready to be released, communication and relationships ready to strengthen, career success, problem solving, self awareness, and self mastery. Presurgical preparation and post-surgical recovery belong here as well, alongside the quieter goals a person names only once seated and settled. Whatever brought you to this page has a path forward, and that path opens the moment it is spoken aloud.

Collaboration begins in the first moment and holds through every session that follows. You bring your willingness, your determination, your honesty, and your perceived outcome that you are reaching toward; I bring the clinical training, the tools, and a structure that holds steady while you do the reaching. Change belongs to you, and my role is to make the path toward it clear, direct, and obtainable.

Sessions are shaped to reach you the way you actually receive: through what you see, what you hear, what you sense, what you feel settle in your body, and what finally makes sense in your own words. Together we bring the conscious, subconscious, and unconscious mind into alignment, so that insight arrives as informed certainty, which is beyond simply information. Clients frequently describe the result as a calm knowing, the felt sense of arriving somewhere they were already moving toward.

That same knowing carries into rooms far larger than a single session, because an organization is many minds moving together. My role as Chief Infrastructure Strategist and Director of ADA Mental Health Compliance Strategies extends this principle to businesses and government organizations nationwide and internationally, through executive and workforce cognition optimization, leadership systems, accessibility governance, neurodivergence integration, and inclusion communication. Equip people fully, remain present with the guidance that keeps progress on course, and compliance matures into genuine capability.

A rare combination stands behind this practice; a degree in Mind-Body Psychology and clinical certification across trauma recovery, imagery, Ericksonian and Jungian modalities, cognitive behavioral technique, and many further modalities drawn upon precisely as each individual requires. Decades of business analysis, ongoing study in applied cognition and psycholinguistics, and standing as a published author, researcher, and member of the American Hypnosis Association complete the foundation. Every engagement, whether a single session or an organization wide initiative, carries the same exacting attention and discretion.

Reach out to schedule a “NO COST Discovery Call.” Bring your willingness and your questions… the expertise and structure will be here to meet them. The moment you decide is the moment we begin together.

Experience

My practice today is sustained entirely by the people inside it. Clients return, clients refer, and the schedule currently carries a waiting list, all without advertising or marketing of any kind. Word of mouth has remained the only introduction this practice has ever required.

Thirty years as a business analyst, as well as, a decade as a mediator serving conflict resolutions and disputes; shaped how hypnotherapy carries into organizational settings. My role as Chief Infrastructure Strategist and Director of ADA Mental Health Compliance Strategies brings employers, human resources, executive leadership, and employees into genuine meeting of the minds, so that reasonable accommodations are understood, retention strengthens, and concerns resolve while they are still conversations. Both sides of the table leave knowing what was said, what was agreed, and what follows next.

Currency in this field asks for continual study, and research remains a daily discipline rather than an occasional one. Standing as a published author and active researcher keeps the practice anchored in evidence, while the clinical side stays anchored in the person seated across from me. Thirteen years of ordained ministry underlie the discretion and ethical stewardship that every engagement receives.
