As the owner of Marilyn Wellness Studio located in beautiful Laguna Beach, California, Marilyn Montero serves clients to provide a magical experience with hypnotherapy, life coaching, and wellness coaching for all areas of their lives. These areas include weight loss, anxiety, stop smoking, depression, relationship, habit control, and much more.
She uses her wisdom, education, skills, kindness, and natural intuition to provide an enhanced experience that allows clients to achieve optimal wellness. Her goal is to understand where her clients are at and help them discover their true-life desires then provide a personalized treatment plan that includes hypnosis to help them elevate as individuals in all areas of their lives. She also loves to work with family and business groups.
Marilyn started her journey early on, working in major corporations, such as Office Depot and Ericsson, before moving into entrepreneurship with many brick-and-mortar businesses. She has extensive knowledge in property management and salesmanship that she acquired throughout her many careers. Her credentials are impressive with a business degree from Florida Atlantic University, Life Coaching with Tony Robbins in his Robbins-Madanes Training and graduating at the top of her class from Hypnosis Motivation Institute with honors and extra achievement awards.
She now uses her life wisdom, education, tools, and knowledge to provide results to every client. Her journey wasn’t the easiest, but she knows how to climb many mountains, understanding the growth potential that exists for each person. Montero believes that all mountains are achievable, even if you're at the bottom when first getting started, with focus, determination, and believing in yourself.
She is living proof that you can start from the bottom and work your way up to the top, achieving success while overcoming obstacles. The challenges she faced have helped her grow into the person she is today. She believes the truth is what we all seek to express and bringing it to awareness is the first step to any starting point in wellness. This inner-city woman is hardwired to excel in life.
Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Montero has always had a positive reputation for telling it like it is without holding back. She's known for putting a lot of hard work and effort into everything she does in life. Her goal-oriented nature, hard work, and extreme focus made it possible to make her way up and out of Boston.
While she would never forget where she came from, Montero enjoys life with her kids in the beautiful Laguna Beach area, where she can enjoy the warm weather and have easy access to the beach. When she’s not providing hypnotherapy or coaching sessions, inspiring women, or hosting fun events full of positive energy, you can catch Marilyn Montero doing the things she loves most.
She considers herself well-rounded in her personal interests, from watching romantic comedies to playing with makeup and hair, golfing, learning the piano, buying and learning about the newest tech gadgets, and reading philosophy. She also loves spending quality time with her two teenage boys, making memories that will last a lifetime.
