Biography for Nelly Johnston, CMH

Nelly Johnston has always been passionate toward serving and counseling people in need. She graduated from California State University Los Angeles in 2007 with her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology. After receiving her degree she has lived in Florida and Washington D.C., she moved back to Los Angeles, California in 2013 where she makes her home today.

Her desire has always been to assist those in her local community. Nelly chose to work with teenage girls in the local Los Angeles neighborhood of Echo Park. She offered guidance and mentorship alongside a group of women community leaders dedicated to that mission. Her goal was empowering young ladies with their journey and to ultimately help them make life affirming decisions especially in navigating the hurdles on the path to college.

In 2017 Nelly was exposed to “A Course in Miracles” Energy Psychology and Hypnosis. Along with her psychology training these have become the foundations of her practice.

In 2018 she officially became a Hypnotist through the Nationally Accredited Hypnosis Motivation Institute. She is currently a Certified Hypnotherapist, member of the American Hypnosis Association and the Hypnotherapists Union Local 472.

Her main motivation is empowering individuals – gifting them with the needed tools to keep them growing from within… manifesting real and lasting change in their lives!
