Biography for Octavio Medina, CHt

Octavio's hunger for knowledge inspired him to come to the United States to find answers to the many questions he had about science, technology, philosophy and psychology. He also wanted to learn about the most advanced knowledge in Microbiology, Computer Programming and Business Administration.

In his quest for knowledge, he went to East Los Angeles Community College where he enrolled in a certificate program in Electron Microscopy where he had the opportunity to learn about most of the diseases caused by bacteria and viruses, but he also studied DNA recombination. He wanted to be able to find a cure for cancer but due to a lack of background in medicine, he went to Cal State University Los Angeles where he pursued a career in Business Administration. He took Accounting, Marketing and Finance classes but none of these majors gave him any sense of purpose in life. He was more interested in helping people who have been diagnosed with a terminal disease or people who cannot find meaning to their life.

That's what led Octavio to HMI where he learned about the power of the subconscious mind and how to use it to help others. Octavio believes that fear is the cause of many physiological and psychosomatic diseases, as well as the main cause of failure in life. If a person knew that fear is nothing but a resistance or a defense that some of us develop unconsciously, then, success and happiness would be inevitable.
