Biography for Rebecca K. Craig, CHt

The version of Rebecca Kaitlyn Craig that stayed quiet is officially retired. Today, she is a protector, a warrior, and a voice for those ready to heal.

As a Certified Hypnotherapist and the founder of Mind & Balance Hypnotherapy and Relaxed Knowing Clarity, Rebecca doesn’t just teach resilience—she has lived it. Her therapeutic approach is forged from a uniquely diverse real-world background. From navigating high-stress shifts as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a USPS city carrier to working as a certified welder operating heavy machinery in a Portland steel mill and a high-tech clean room technician, Rebecca intimately understands the physical and mental toll of a hard-working life.

An honors graduate of the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI) with a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy—and currently advancing her expertise toward an Associate of Occupational Studies in Mind-Body Psychology—Rebecca bridges the gap between raw, down-to-earth grit and profound subconscious transformation.

Whether she’s helping a client shatter subconscious barriers, writing lyrics, or baking banana nut bread at her home in Camas, Washington, Rebecca brings a fiercely empowering, non-judgmental energy to everything she does. She knows how to turn life’s hardest battles into your greatest strengths because she’s done it herself.

Experience

Rebecca’s foundation in the healing arts comes from rigorous academic and clinical training. She graduated with honors from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute with a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and is currently advancing her expertise by pursuing an Associate of Occupational Studies in Mind-Body Psychology. Her clinical understanding is further grounded in foundational healthcare education, including Medical Assistant training at Charter College and Certified Nursing Assistant training at the NW Nursing Assistant Certified Training School.

Before establishing her virtual hypnotherapy practices, Mind & Balance Hypnotherapy and Relaxed Knowing Clarity, Rebecca cultivated an unparalleled work ethic across a diverse spectrum of demanding industries. Her professional journey includes highly technical precision work as a Clean Room Technician for Analog Devices and Pentagon, as well as heavy industrial experience operating machinery and serving as an engineer conductor at a Portland steel mill. She also completed trade school training at Charter College to become a certified welder.

Beyond manufacturing and tech, Rebecca has actively served and protected her community in roles ranging from a security guard for Allied Universal and a city carrier for the United States Postal Service to hands-on caregiving as a practicing CNA. Today, she channels this vast, real-world experience into her hypnotherapy practice, her entrepreneurial e-commerce ventures, and her upcoming book, Forged Clarity: From Physical Grit to Subconscious Healing.
