Hypnotherapy is not a substitute for care provided by your physician or other licensed healthcare professionals. Rather, it is a vocational, avocational, complementary approach designed to support relaxation, emotional well-being, resilience, and the mind-body connection as you work toward your personal goals.
One of the reasons I chose this profession is that I wanted to work alongside individuals whose life experiences often mirror my own. Having experienced caregiving, personal transformation, and many of life’s unexpected chapters, I understand the importance of being truly heard, supported, and encouraged with heartfelt empathy and compassion.
While every person’s story is unique, I believe meaningful change begins with genuine connection, compassion, and hope. My approach is collaborative—a “do with,” not a “do to” process that honors each client on their own journey.
I welcome opportunities to work collaboratively with physicians, audiologists, surgeons, dentists, psychologists, physical therapists, chiropractors, and other licensed healthcare professionals when appropriate, always respecting the distinct role each professional plays in supporting an individual’s mind-body connection.

Experience
Susan Ruth Eve, CHt, brings nearly three decades of professional experience as a Project Management Professional, leading complex financial, business, and technology initiatives. Her former career developed a strong foundation in listening, collaboration, problem-solving, goal setting, and guiding individuals and teams through meaningful change.
Her life experience also includes more than five years as a primary caregiver for a loved one experiencing cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s disease, an experience that deepened her appreciation for compassion, advocacy, resilience, and meeting people where they are.
Susan is also a member of Manatee Buzz Buddies, a tinnitus support group sponsored by Sertoma, a nonprofit service organization. She also collaborates with a weight-management practitioner whose practice incorporates a holistic wellness approach, through which she has personally experienced a 60-pound weight loss.
She has completed HMI’s 720-hour Hypnotherapy Training Program and clinical internship and continues her education in Mind-Body Psychology.
Today, Susan brings together her professional leadership experience, caregiving perspective, community involvement, and hypnotherapy training to provide a compassionate, collaborative approach. She works with clients globally and in person, helping them identify their goals, access their inner resources, and create meaningful personal change—Coming Home to Themselves.
