Biography for Yvonne Judge, MAMFT, IMFT, CCHt

Yvonne is an Honors Graduate from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in Tarzana, California. She first found her love of hypnosis in 2007 when she lived in Los Angeles and attended an introductory course at the institute. She later moved back to Ohio and completed hypnotherapist training via HMI’s Distance Education.

She is a member of the American Hypnosis Association and the Hypnotherapists Union Local 472. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and is pursuing a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Yvonne currently practices as a Marriage and Family Therapist where she uses her hypnotherapy skills to assist clients suffering from anxiety spectrum disorders, complex PTSD, fears and phobias. Yvonne also enjoys working with people on such topics as public speaking, relaxation, and self-esteem.

Prior to becoming a Hypnotherapist, Yvonne worked in business for many years. With previous experience working in the science, education and information technology industries, from the lab to the executive suite to entrepreneurship, she is able to understand the day-to-day stresses that work and life can bring. She brings that experience to bear in understanding the needs of her clients and helps them forge a path toward self-improvement.

Experience

I love working with clients on a variety of topics. However, my favorite areas to work on are trauma, anxiety disorders and public speaking. I love working with clients on passive-aggression because many people do not realize that this trait can be changed. For that reason, it is very difficult to receive support.

I enjoy working with people on vocational success because many people get the majority of their self-esteem from their careers. Having achieved a level of success in the IT industry before becoming a Hypnotherapist, I understand the importance of outside support in reaching career goals.
