According to the Center for Journal Therapy, "journaling is the purposeful and intentional use of reflective writing to further mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health and wellness". Through various journal prompts and exercises, therapeutic creative journaling allows one to gain insight into themselves, their relationship with others, and as well, the world around them.
In this presentation, we will explore ways to introduce therapeutic creative journaling into your therapy, making its use interesting and very helpful for your clients. A few exercises will be part of the presentation, so bring paper and pen, and see how therapeutic creative journaling is a tremendous tool for you and your clients!

So many takeaways from this class. I have started journaling so many times and then got distracted. I have several guided journals with writing prompts and I need to revisit those. I do have a question about one of the prompts in the guide meditation - when it comes to forgiving someone, why is the phrase "and I ask that you forgive me" attached. It seems that you are taking on some of the blame when that may aggravate the feelings you already have. Also, not editing yourself can be so difficult, but so important.
