Presenting Issue
Client is feeling afraid and is not aware of what is causing it. He is blocked creatively. He complains of hopelessness and his condition is getting worse day by day. His career is affected due to this unknown fear.

Clinical Case History 6 Highlights

  • Dr. Kappas discusses clues on George's hypoglycemic symptoms along with his low tolerance for stress. He also points out the Passive Aggressive tendencies exhibited by him in his relationship and his career.

Seeing the different induction used in a very resistant client, is very helpful to remove any sense of uncertainty of your capacity. You could see how adding additional depth will sometimes be necessary, and ultimately will yield better results.

I like how Dr. Kappas said that a lot of the time we are de-hypnotizing people rather than hypnotizing them. I found that to be very interesting, showing the power of hypnosis, and when it’s in a controlled state, how it can be used to our advantage however, if it’s allowed to have free reign, it can cause a lot of problems for people.
