It was interesting to see how Dr. Kappas used conversation and physical observation to figure out what was really bothering the client. That his pain was more a psychosomatic than anything else. The client seem to feel more useless or less necessary because he was no longer working and needed the pain in his arm to justify it to himself. Also how Dr. Kappas used his knowledge of how to identify the clients suggestibility to apply the paternal method of suggestibility.

This was a highly valuable and clinically rich lesson. It offered a clear, practical demonstration of how theory translates into real-time application, particularly in identifying and working with Emotional suggestibility and sexuality. The integration of handwriting analysis, E&P evaluation, and defense mechanisms added depth and precision to the assessment process. Observing how Dr. Kappas adjusted his approach moment-to-moment, especially in strengthening suggestions through emotional states, was especially insightful. Overall, the session provided strong clarity on building subconscious self-image and reinforced the importance of tailoring techniques to the client’s specific suggestibility and behavioral patterns.
