Presented By: David Klaproth, NLP, CCHt

David Klaproth

Guest Speaker David Klaproth, CCHt, returns to share tips for successfully operating a hypnotherapy practice in Texas. David explains the importance of staying within the scope of vocational and avocational hypnotherapy, avoiding language that overlaps with licensed therapy practices, and providing clear limits to and disclaimers for his services. He offers tips on researching state laws using AHA resources to clarify the scope of services and freely provides his own disclaimer for personal adaptation. Additionally, David shares creative ways for handling pro bono or comp clients.

In this episode, David highlights the importance of practice to master the craft of hypnotherapy and work with confidence. Emphasizing the connection between mastery and practice, he provides actionable ideas for honing skills, both during and after the time at HMI by attending practice workshops, learning scripts, and working with clients through the internship. His most vital advice is to quit overthinking and start doing, suggesting activities to help get started. David’s ability to use his HMI training and create a successful practice, coupled with his positive and empowering ideas for others, make this an episode not to be missed!
