American Hypnosis Association – Practice Builders Power Hour

Practice Builders Episode 53 - Saman Nasir, CCHt

Presented By: Saman Nasir, CCHt

Saman Nasir

Guest Speaker Saman Nasir, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Marriage & Family Therapist graduate, and doctoral candidate in Transpersonal Psychology at Sofia University, returns to share how to identify and transform self-sabotage. An Honors Graduate of HMI with over 15 years of experience in coaching, hypnotherapy, leadership, and mindfulness, she blends clinical training with deep spiritual exploration to help clients worldwide. Her integrative approach draws on CBT, mindfulness, NLP, imagery, desensitization, inner child, and parts work to uncover and transform the subconscious patterns that drive self-sabotage and repetitive loops.

In this episode, Saman defines self-sabotage as the subconscious way people block what they say they want, explains why it can feel addictive, and maps the stress-relief dopamine cycle that keeps it in place. She identifies red flags, like procrastination and perfectionism, and then offers simple techniques, like the 5-second rule, that help rebuild confidence. She also explains how gentle, believable upgrades and SMART goals shift the inner voice from critic to coach. Finally, she reframes the process of attracting clients by suggesting that hypnotherapists take the ego out of it and return to service.

Saman’s passion for helping people rewrite deeper life scripts that keep them stuck makes this an episode you won’t want to miss.

Take the next step in your journey toward success. Let’s grow and succeed together!
