Hypnotherapy Live - Marc Gravelle/Kristine - Fear of Flying - Session 1 of 3

Presented By: Marc Gravelle

Hypnotherapist: Marc Gravelle, CHt
Client: Kristine - Session 1 of 3
Presenting Issue: Fear of Flying

Description: Kristine wants to attend her sister’s wedding next weekend, which she has to fly to, but whenever she’s in an airplane she gets sick to her stomach. The behavior started when she was 19 and on a flight back from Barbados when the plane dropped unexpectedly causing havoc among the passengers. Since Kristine had been diagnosed with hypoglycemia in the past, Marc decided to use Circle Therapy and create an anchor of relaxation to replace the anxiety to use on flights.

In hypnosis, Marc took Kristine through the Circle Therapy and reinforced taking better care of her eating habits and choices. He created a relaxation anchor for her, reminding her that two feelings of an opposite nature cannot occupy the same space. Therefore, whenever she feels relaxed, she cannot feel anxious.

Techniques Used: NLP, Theory of Mind, Suggestibility Testing, Arm Raising, Progressive Relaxation, Anchoring
