Sounds Fantastic! Using Sound and Music in Hypnotherapy
Presented By: Leigh Spusta, CCHt
In this presentation, HMI Graduate and Production Director at HMI for the last 30 years, Leigh Spusta, CCHt, will teach you the fundamentals of incorporating soundscapes into your hypnotherapy sessions. He’ll answer the common questions, what kind of soundscapes should I use, when should I use them, and for which types of therapy? Which tools are best and easiest to use?
Sound and music have always been an integral part of the tapestry that is the human experience. Our ancestors considered sound as sacred, often used in ritual, community celebrations, and to enter trance states.
Today, a certain song can evoke childhood memories, help us through a difficult time, lift our spirits, or even offer a pathway to healing. Rock-concerts are akin to ancestral festivals… dancing and bonding with each other, and making strangers feel like close friends. Even science has come to verify the impact of sound and music in our lives and it's many uses to move us, heal us, and bring us together. Join us for this beautiful and informative presentation with Leigh Spusta, who will also be teaching a NEW AHA Full-Day Seminar on “Using Sound and Music in Hypnotherapy.”
