Practice Builders Episode 94 - Mario Pescatore, CCHt
Presented By: Mario Pescatore, CCHt
Guest Speaker Mario Pescatore, CCHt and Senior HMI Instructor, returns with practical ways to create clearer, more personal marketing. He encourages practitioners to stop leading with certifications, modalities, and techniques and instead focus on whether potential clients can relate to the message, feel understood, and see what they may be able to accomplish.
In this episode, Mario shows how effective messaging begins by identifying who you want to reach, naming the specific problem or symptom they recognize, and clearly communicating the result they want. Rather than marketing broadly to “anxiety” or “well-being,” he encourages listeners to become specific enough that the right person immediately recognizes themselves in the message.
Mario then turns that advice into action with a video challenge, encouraging listeners to create five short videos during the week, keep each one simple, choose the strongest one, and post it. To make the process more manageable, he suggests specific tools that can simplify editing and presentation and help turn short recordings into polished content. He also recommends mixing educational content with personal interests so potential clients can get to know the person behind the practice. Mario points to Mental Bank as a tool for reinforcing consistency when the initial excitement and motivation to market and create videos begin to fade.
For this week’s challenge, Mario encourages listeners to spend five minutes a day creating short videos, using simple content to practice showing up and becoming more visible. Take this week’s challenge to keep learning, growing, and strengthening your work with clients.
