Clinical HypnoAcoustics - NEW Certification Course
Presented By: Leigh Spusta, CCHt
Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Pacific Time)
Using Sound and Music to Enhance Your Hypnotherapy Sessions
The right soundscape can turn your hypnotherapy sessions/recordings into a truly immersive, relaxing and healing experience for your client. Sound and music can shift how we feel, focus, and relax—but only if you know how to use them the right way.
In this course, you’ll learn how the brain responds to different sounds, how to pick or create music that supports a hypnotic state, and how to use and create sound as a natural healing tool.
In this Certification Course you will learn:
- How to choose the right sounds and music for each client.
- Tools and techniques to add music and soundscapes to your hypnosis sessions.
- How to weave soundscapes into hypnotic inductions, deepening techniques, and creating a safe, sacred space.
- Proper Zoom setup and incorporating AudioSpire software tools to work with clients online and in-person.
- Create your own Soundscapes.
- Record your own Audio Products.
- Apply these tools for both Zoom and in-person clients.
- How to bring it all together with suggestions and guided imagery.
- Basic music theory with an emphasis on evoking positive emotion and relaxation.
- Brainwave Entrainment – How certain sound patterns (binaural beats and isochronic tones) can shift brainwaves and mental states.
- Sound Resonance and Harmonics – How sound vibrations work with balancing the Seven Chakras.
- The elements of composing hypnotic soundscapes: Drones, Tones, and Spice.
- Understand the basics of related fields – Music Therapy, Sound Healing, Vibroacoustics, Psychoacoustics, and Ethnomusicology.
Come learn, experience, and have fun! You’ll leave knowing how to turn sound and music from something that simply feels nice into a real tool for healing and transformation.

About Your Instructor:
Leigh Spusta, CCHt, is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (HMI and AOS Graduate) and has been HMI’s Production Director for the past 30 years. Leigh is also the founder of AudioSpire, a platform of therapeutic sound and brainwave-entrainment tools built for hypnotherapists, sound healers, meditators, and musicians.
At twelve, Leigh Spusta picked up a guitar and fell in love with the creativity, composition, and improvisation of music. That love grew into a fascination with how music can shift our experience—a thread he’s followed professionally for 30 years, alongside training as a hypnotherapist and Certified Therapeutic Imagery Facilitator. He’s been affiliated with HMI College of Hypnotherapy (where he serves as Director of Media Production) and the American Hypnosis Association for the same three decades.
