It nourishes and enriches us at the core of our being through the experience of deep connection. When the need for intimacy is fulfilled, we experience wholeness and sufficiency. We feel at one with ourselves and the world. In conjunction with a sexual connection, intimacy can be exhilarating, inspiring, even transcendent. The shadow side of intimacy involves the fear of loss, rejection, or shame. While these fears are common to some degree to most of us, they need not prevent us from experiencing the joys of intimate contact.
This experiential seminar will enhance your capacity to experience deeper and more meaningful emotional connection in your relationships and particularly with an intimate partner. In it you will learn how to neutralize relational patterns that may have limited your ability to create deep intimacy, as well as practices that will deepen and enhance this experience. Singles, couples, and halves of pairs are welcome to attend.
Charlie Bloom, MSW and Linda Bloom, LCSW are psychotherapists, seminar leaders and educators. They are co-authors of the best-selling book, 101 Things I Wish I Knew When I Got Married: Simple Lessons to Make Love Last (over 100,000 copies sold), and Secrets of Great Marriages: Real Truth from Real Couples about Lasting Love.
