This workshop is a powerful and experiential introduction to several different styles of conscious breathing exercises for your health and self-knowledge. In this workshop, James will introduce through demonstration and group exercises a variety of Breathwork techniques and practices; what they are, how to apply them, and applications not mentioned in his book. This workshop will give you a better understanding of his book that supports this workshop.

Thirteen Breaths to Freedom is the title of James Beard’s book, and a well rounded therapeutic conscious breathing exercise designed to help you maintain optimal well being, peace of mind and understanding of your heart.

This workshop is a wide ranging introduction to Breathwork, an umbrella word, referring to many different styles of Breathwork practices. Parts of this practice can be done anytime and anywhere, and once you have learned the “Thirteen Breath” technique, it can be done in as little as two minutes.

I enjoyed these breathing techniques. Did not realize the importance of learning how to breath correctly. I highly recommend doing the breathing exercise while you're watching the video. While doing the breathing exercise, James states to notice any pain in your body and ask why is the pain there. I had a tense pain on my left shoulder. I asked why the pain was there on my shoulder and to follow me as I did the Micro Cosmic Orbit breath out of my body. By the end of the class the pain was gone! I was amazed with what one class of breathing exercises did for my pain. Cannot wait to learn more on Thirteen Breaths to Freedom. I love my body more now than ever. Thank you.
