The American Hypnosis Association Reiki Level One Certification Course with Katt Lowe was a thoughtful, well-rounded, and a supportive introduction to Reiki. The teachings were clear, grounded, and practical, while the stories and personal testimonies shared throughout the course brought the healing energy of Reiki to life in a meaningful and relatable way. I came away feeling confident in the foundations of self-Reiki and in eventually working with others, with a strong understanding of ethical practice, honoring free will, and respecting energetic boundaries. The course also prepared me well for what to expect during the 21–30 day integration period and how Reiki can continue to unfold as a lifelong practice. One small area that could be enhanced is a bit more guided preparation or explanation around the 1:1 practice time—for example, setting clearer expectations for the flow of a treatment followed by time for reflection or discussion. That said, the balance between experiential practice and learning felt thoughtful overall, and the practice time itself was valuable and grounding. This class felt thorough, responsibly taught, and well-paced, offering both spiritual depth and practical grounding. I’m genuinely looking forward to continuing on to the next level.
