As part of your NLP Practitioner Training, MER Therapy is included and has its own quiz so you can receive a separate certificate in this course. MER Therapy is a clinically researched approach to help release negative emotions, limiting beliefs and limiting decisions. Otherwise known as baggage. This baggage unconsciously and continuously interferes with our ability to create the results in life that we desire.

Unconscious mechanisms such as sabotage and resistance, hijack our intentions in an attempt to protect us from negative projections due to childhood Significant Emotional Events (SEE). These SEEs are the root cause of unprocessed emotions, generalizations, belief systems and limiting decisions.

For Example: Due to this Significant Emotional Event (SEE), I feel shame (emotion) because I wasn't prepared, which means I'm not capable (belief), resulting in the decision to never try anything unless I know how to do it well (limiting decision).
