This 300-page manuscript also contains the complete history of Dr. Kappas, The Kappas Family, HMI and Mental Bank, as written by me, George Kappas.

This manuscript will be published and released to the public in book form later in the year. When working with a publisher, books are often edited, shortened, and often dumbed down for broader appeal.

For that reason, I have decided to print a limited number of the original edition manuscript to share with my family, Senior Instructors, and HMI employees. And oh yeah… a limited group of students and graduates who attend the Mental Bank Facilitator Certification Seminar and HMI All Day Immersive Experience on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

Only 200 copies of this Collector’s Edition manuscript will be printed and each will be uniquely numbered, personalized, and signed.

HMI Campus Tour

The HMI Campus is not just a campus; it is really a walking tour museum of 57 years of HMI and the Kappas Family History. Every inch of the HMI campus was designed by George Kappas and the halls are filled with pictures, history, and memorabilia. In addition, the HMI Studios will be up and running, as our normal Live on Zoom classes are being streamed live with instructors in the HMI Zoom Rooms.

I have been excited to give feedback on this very special experience. Thank you to all of the staff who made this day possible! It was so worthwhile and everyone I spoke with shared this sentiment. It seems like something that could be worked into the model once a quarter (and more then that, I'm sure, if you find that you are earning enough profit to make it worthwhile). The buzz and sense of community was very palpable that day among us and I personally connected with a couple of students in very meaningful ways. I loved the legacy wall and having George personally tell us stories. The surprise guests at lunch were fun and, of course, Laura and Cheryl were wonderful! Natalie also did a fantastic job guiding us in the morning. Suggestions for Future: Could be neat to include opportunity to have professional photos taken for our webpages/HMI profile (where we would pay extra and directly to photographer, but convenience of having photographer there already would be benefit) - Formal suggestions for a couple of good places to eat in the area for dinner. Could share during lunch break so people could get themselves organized. I personally was driving back to San Diego, but it did seem like some people wanted to keep the party going and didn't quite know how or where and ended up going back to hotels.
