In his recent Practice Builders Power Hour interview, Joe stressed the importance of the arm raising induction as a key element in building your private practice. In this 90-minute hands-on practicum, Joe will demonstrate, guide, and personally supervise as you master the Arm Raising Induction.

HMI Campus Tour

The HMI Campus is not just a campus; it is really a walking tour museum of 57 years of HMI and the Kappas Family History. Every inch of the HMI campus was designed by George Kappas and the halls are filled with pictures, history, and memorabilia. In addition, the HMI Studios will be up and running, as our normal Live on Zoom classes are being streamed live with instructors in the HMI Zoom Rooms.

Just when you think it couldn’t be more fun! You’ll have the opportunity to dine with other students and graduates from around the country, all together for a sit-down lunch in the HMI Banquet Room. This is my third HMI On-Campus Experience. The other On-Campus Experiences were excellent, but this one "knocked it out of the park." Cheryl O'Neil's presentation and imagery workshop set the stage for a spectacular Mental Bank Facilitator Training, led by Director Kappas, Natalie, and Laura. Director Kappas delivered a heartfelt and empowering presentation on the history of HMI and Mental Bank. It was evident that a great deal of time and effort was given by the presenters and staff, right down to the superb lunch provided, to make this event a success. This event was also an excellent opportunity to meet and connect with fellow students and instructors. Mental Bank will be incorporated into my professional and personal life, as it is a sound and straightforward approach for achieving desired results. Thank you.

I have been excited to give feedback on this very special experience. Thank you to all of the staff who made this day possible! It was so worthwhile and everyone I spoke with shared this sentiment. It seems like something that could be worked into the model once a quarter (and more then that, I'm sure, if you find that you are earning enough profit to make it worthwhile). The buzz and sense of community was very palpable that day among us and I personally connected with a couple of students in very meaningful ways. I loved the legacy wall and having George personally tell us stories. The surprise guests at lunch were fun and, of course, Laura and Cheryl were wonderful! Natalie also did a fantastic job guiding us in the morning. Suggestions for Future: Could be neat to include opportunity to have professional photos taken for our webpages/HMI profile (where we would pay extra and directly to photographer, but convenience of having photographer there already would be benefit) - Formal suggestions for a couple of good places to eat in the area for dinner. Could share during lunch break so people could get themselves organized. I personally was driving back to San Diego, but it did seem like some people wanted to keep the party going and didn't quite know how or where and ended up going back to hotels.
