This was an interesting look at the history of hypnosis. It hadn't occurred to me to classify the Oracle of Delphi as under hypnosis! I think I only thought of it as something started by Mesmer.

I found this to be very interesting and I was very interested in Mesmer's Theory on Animal Magnetism. I believe there is a very important connection being missed here that no one has touch on yet. I was also not aware of Freud's part in Hypnosis History. I am very excited to learn and put this into practice. I believe there are so many things that can still be learned about the mind and body.

I felt this was a good lesson, I learned about all the ways that a person could be healed. One that stood out to me was the soldiers and how they would have to relive the event in order to be healed. That is what a lot of people go through to be reopen a wound in order for that wound to be healed the right way.

I liked this lesson for its organization and tone. While getting a degree in Interpretation I was taught that you want your attendees to run right out and buy a book on your topic. I bought 4 and put another 7 in my "save for later" carts. I appreciate the nostalgia of the story time delivery and self quiz inserts.
