Biography for Jake Y. Rubin, MA, CCHt

Jake Rubin is the founder of Westside Hypnotherapy in Los Angeles, California and an honors graduate of the Hypnosis Motivation Institute where he received HMI's highest honor, the Clinical Achievement Award for Exceptional Performance during Clinical Internship and Outstanding Academic Achievement. With a very successful practice in Los Angeles, he is the primary hypnotherapy referral choice of many top physicians and mental health professionals affiliated with Cedars-Sinai, St. Johns Medical Center and UCLA.

As a lifetime scholar of psychology and the human mind, Jake has always been fascinated by the power of our thoughts, why we do what we do, and how we motivate ourselves to make lasting changes and improvements in our lives. He takes time to understand the needs of each client and assists them in removing the blocks and changing the association in their subconscious mind so they can live their best life.

In addition to his education at HMI, Jake also holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology from Alliant University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California at Los Angeles.
