Biography for Nora E. Stefanescu, CHt

Nora had avant-garde ideas since she was an adolescent and as soon as she was old enough to leave the nest, she left her original homeland Romania in search for her creative expression in foreign countries. From a very young age, people were gravitating toward her kind and soothing demeanor, because she seemed to be able to put everyone at ease.

Nora is an artist and a healing facilitator committed to helping people transform their lives through hypnosis. She is a Certified Hypnotherapist and a Life Coach, with formal education, training and expertise in linguistics, foreign languages, media design, and marketing.

In her practice as a Hypnotherapist, Nora is assisting clients in achieving their personal and professional goals in such areas as habit modification, stress reduction, smoking cessation, sports performance, past life regression, overcoming fears and performance anxiety, mental blocks and negative self-talk, increasing self-confidence and self-esteem.

Experience

Nora graduated with Honors and received the Director's Award from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in March 2017. Since the beginning of her residency program in the Fall of 2016, Nora has been avidly working with clients on issues such as weight loss, procrastination, insomnia and reoccurring dreams, chronic pain, gum and nail biting, stress relief and habit change, confidence building and career success. In addition to being a hypnotherapist Nora is a life coach with over 10 years of experience in various life and career coaching modalities.

Previous to this career path, Nora has worked in the field of Media Design, Branding and Marketing for 15 years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages and Humanities, and a Masters degree in International Business Management.

Nora is a firm believer in and practitioner of TM (Transcendental Meditation), a meditation technique developed by the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in the 1950's India. It is a method for relaxation, stress reduction, and self-development widely practiced around the globe. Meditation and hypnotherapy go hand in hand. Both have a calming and relaxing effect on the subconscious mind and body, helping the brain release unwanted and unnecessary overloading information.

Nora has devoted time to the study and research of language, neuro-science, neuro-plasticity of the brain, psychology, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), and has experienced trauma-therapy such as EMDR.
