Biography for Skee Goedhart, CHt
Skee Goedhart brings a unique and creative edge to the field of Hypnotherapy. Born in Paris, raised in London, he moved to the United States in 1982 where he began working as an artist. From early on Skee's paintings reflected an intense fascination with the subconscious and the use of trance states. Over the years he began to see a tremendous potential for using art as a therapeutic tool, allowing people to work through emotions in ways that went far beyond language.
After graduating from HMI (Hypnosis Motivation Institute) in California he began developing the idea of blending the disciplines of Hypnosis and creating art. Today he works with artists and non-artists alike and shares a deep passion based upon years of experience, training and practical application.
Besides his private hypnotherapy practice Skee also works at The Camden Center, a dual diagnosis treatment facility located in Los Angeles, California.
The unconscious mind is a vast and fascinating place, so much of our joys, dreams and fears are found there. I believe Hypnosis is one of the best tools we have to access that world and make long-lasting, positive change.

Experience
As well as being a Hypnotherapist, Skee has explored numerous non traditional therapeutic approaches including meditation, Tai Chi, Qigong, shamanic dream work and the Native American practices of sweat lodge and vision quest. He earned a masters degree, with an emphasis in the History of Religion and began to integrate aspects of religion, mythology, ritual and Shamanism in both his own life and healing practice.
Beside his healing work, Skee is a painter, author, a black belt and teacher of Tang Soo Do Karate and worked as a stock trader for a number of years.
